The tree is characterized by a compact, rounded crown with dense foliage. The leaves are dark green, leathery, and shiny. The flowers are fragrant, white with a purple or violet base. When grown in pots, the plant height ranges from 0.9 to 1.6 m; in open field conditions, the tree can reach 2–3 meters.

The fruits have a rounder shape than those of common lemons. The thin, fragrant zest acquires an orange hue upon full ripening. The pulp is dark yellow, juicy, and possesses a sweetish flavor with floral or coniferous notes. The variety is everbearing, produces fruit throughout the year, with the main harvest ripening in winter.
