The tree is characterized by orthotropic growth and the presence of thorns; leaves are of medium size. The fruits have an average weight of about 108 g, an elliptical shape with a small nipple, and a smooth peel about 6 mm thick. In terms of appearance, the variety is close to Italian lemons of the Femminello group.

The variety is mid-early; fruits ripen in the winter period. The yield is about 90 kg per tree, with the lemons characterized by high juiciness and a minimal number of seeds. The produce has low transportability and is not suitable for long-term storage.

The plant is sensitive to low temperatures and infection by Dothiorella (coryphaea), which causes the drying of branch tips. The use of the fruits is limited to the fresh market due to their high organoleptic characteristics, including a strong aroma and high acidity.
