Trees of this variety are characterized by high vigor, large size, spreading canopy, and the presence of thorns. The variety is represented by both old clonal lines and nucellar forms.

The fruits are medium-sized, oblong in shape, with a pronounced "nipple" at the apex. The peel is yellow when ripe and slightly textured. The flesh is pale yellow-green, acidic, and contains a small number of seeds.

The main crop is harvested in winter and early spring, although the variety is capable of fruiting several times per year. The plant is valued for its productivity and early entry into the fruiting period.
