The variety is a hybrid of the Dancy mandarin and Duncan or Bowen grapefruit. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, a compact or dense rounded crown, and high productivity. The plant is considered self-fertile and adapted to home garden conditions.

The fruit are medium to large in size, oblate in shape, without a nipple or neck. The rind is thin, deep reddish-orange, slightly rough, and peeling. The flesh is orange, tender, juicy, with a sweet and sour taste combining notes of grapefruit and mandarin. The variety is characterized as late, with a ripening period from August to October, and the presence of seeds in the fruit.
