The plant is a vigorous evergreen tree with a spreading crown, reaching 4–5 meters in height, the branches of which usually do not have thorns. The leaves are stiff, dark green, elongated in shape, and often have noticeable wings.

The fruits are large, 7.5–8.5 cm in diameter, have an elongated shape with a neck at the base. The peel is smooth, of medium thickness, bright red-orange in color, and separates easily. The flesh consists of 10–12 segments and possesses juiciness and a sweet-and-sour aroma.

The variety belongs to the late-maturity group; the harvesting period falls in December–February. The plant prefers a warm subtropical climate. Cross-pollination may be required to increase yield; the number of seeds varies depending on growing conditions.
