The tree resembles a mandarin in appearance. The fruits have an orange-yellow color and a slightly rough, tight-fitting rind. The pulp of the fruits is tender and juicy, possessing a distinct tart and spicy taste.

The variety belongs to the mid-season group. The fruits are prone to shedding and do not hold well on the tree after reaching maturity. Currently, the variety has no commercial significance and is preserved primarily in citrus research collections.
