Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a result of breeding the W. Murcott variety using gamma radiation on buds. The tree has a vigorous growth habit and forms a dense canopy with upright branches.

The fruits are oblate in shape, with an average weight of about 90 g and a diameter of 59 mm. The rind is an intense orange color, thin and smooth. The dark orange flesh is characterized by high juiciness, a sweet taste, and moderate acidity.

A key characteristic of the variety is the practical absence of seeds even with cross-pollination due to low pollen viability. When affected by citrus greening disease, the trees retain the ability to bear productive fruit.
