The Dweet tree has moderate vigor and morphological traits intermediate between its parent forms. The fruits are spherical or oblate in shape with a noticeable neck and a finely pitted surface.
The fruit pulp is orange and juicy, however, the variety has drawbacks such as a tendency for puffiness, difficulty in peeling, and a high seed content. Fruits hold poorly on the branches after ripening.
The variety is suitable for juice production and fresh consumption, and is also used as an indicator plant for detecting citrus viral diseases in professional horticulture.
