The plant is valued as a promising rootstock, an alternative to Citrumelo Swingle or Poncirus. It possesses vigorous growth, especially in nucellar seedlings, and high vitality.

The root system is powerful and well-branched, resistant to root problems and rot. When used as a rootstock for mandarins, there is no phenomenon of excessive thickening at the graft union. The flowers of the variety have a pronounced fragrance.
