Variety description

The variety is a hybrid obtained from a cross between King tangor and grapefruit, although versions of its origin from Rangpur lime and red pomelo are also found in literature. The specimen was obtained in 1937.

The plant was mainly used as a rootstock, however, its effectiveness in this capacity is assessed as low due to poor productivity. Information on fruit taste qualities is absent, as the variety was studied primarily as an object of genetic diversity.

The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to Citrus tristeza virus and cristacortis. Under Riverside conditions, the fruit ripening period occurs from December to March.
