The variety is an artificially obtained triploid hybrid. Within the breeding program, special attention was paid to improving the nutritional and biochemical characteristics of the fruit.

The fruits are characterized by high quality and are a source of vitamin C, flavonoids, and organic acids. Studies show that the citric acid level in the juice of this hybrid is higher than that of its parental form, the Murcott tangor.
