Variety description

The variety is a complex hybrid obtained from crossing the Temple tangor and Dancy and Encore mandarins. The tree is medium-sized or large, with a compact or dense crown; young specimens may have thorns, the number of which decreases with age.

The fruits have a flattened or broadly oval shape, the peel is deep orange in color, easily separable, with a slightly rough texture and an average thickness of about 4.1 mm. The bright orange flesh is distinguished by a pronounced sweet taste and high juiciness.

The variety belongs to late-maturing ones: ripening occurs from mid-February to March, while the harvest can be kept on the tree until April or May. It is characterized by consistently low seediness even when grown in the vicinity of other varieties.
