Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the mandarin variety Ellendale and the Robin hybrid. Trees are characterized by medium to high vigor, form a cylindrical canopy, and are thornless. The variety is late-maturing: in the Southern Hemisphere, the harvest takes place from mid-June to July, and in the Northern Hemisphere, from mid-December to January.

Fruits have an orange or dark orange rind that is resistant to rain damage. The flesh is dark orange, has a high sugar content, and pronounced acidity. The variety is demanding of nutrient management to maintain a balance between growth and fruiting; during the ripening period, there is a tendency for fruit cracking.
