The variety forms flowers with 4–6 sepals of a deep pink or red-purple shade with red veins. The plant's shoot length reaches 2–2.5 meters.

The plant belongs to pruning group 3, where shoots are shortened to 30–50 cm. Flowering begins in June–July; with proper care, a second wave of flowering is possible from August to October.

The variety is suitable for vertical landscaping and container cultivation. It possesses high winter hardiness corresponding to zone 4 and is classified as a large-flowered late-blooming clematis, sometimes referred to the Jackmanii group.
