The plant reaches a height of about 2 meters and forms 14 cm diameter flowers consisting of 6 sepals. The variety is adapted to northern climate conditions and tolerates partial shade well.

The Clematis can be used as a vine or grown in a groundcover form. Strong pruning to a level of 15 cm from the ground before winter is mandatory for the plant, followed by covering with peat.
