The plant is a vigorous vine that climbs supports using leaf tendrils. The flowers are almost round in shape, their 4 broad elliptic sepals are pink with a more intense crimson stripe in the middle, wavy edges, and recurved tips. The stamens are short with yellow anthers on green filaments.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3, requiring hard pruning of shoots in early spring. Flowering is most intense from June to July, continuing until August. The plant is frost-hardy, suitable for cultivation in climatic zones 4–9, and grows well in soils of varying fertility levels.

The clematis is recommended for vertical landscaping of fences, pergolas, gazebos, and for growing in containers on terraces. The variety can be combined when planting with other shrubs or vines.
