The variety is the result of crossing the Ernest Markham variety using a pollen mix. The plant reaches a height of 1.0–1.5 meters and is intended for vertical landscaping.

The flowers are large, purple in color, with pointed petals about 5 mm long and characteristic strongly wavy margins. The variety belongs to pruning group 3, which involves heavy pruning of current-year shoots in the spring to stimulate abundant flowering.
