Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Clematis orientalis var. orientalis and Clematis intricata. The plant reaches a height of 2.5–3 meters, shoots often have a burgundy hue, and the foliage is dark green with a possible bluish tint. The flowers, 3–5 cm in diameter, have dark brown stamens.

Flowering occurs from July to October. After it finishes, silvery-white seed heads form on the plant. The variety belongs to pruning group 3, is characterized by frost resistance, drought tolerance, and the ability for active self-seeding.

The plant is versatile in use: suitable for vertical gardening, decorating trees, or use as a groundcover crop. It grows well in both full sun and partial shade.
