Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of late-flowering clematis. Flowering is abundant and prolonged from June to September, with individual flowers persisting until early November. The flowers are single, 8–12 cm in diameter, dark purple with yellow anthers on violet-yellow filaments.

The plant is a vine 2–2.5 (up to 3) meters in height. The variety belongs to pruning group 3; shoots should be shortened to 30–50 cm above the ground in February-March. Frost resistance corresponds to zone 4 (down to -29...-34 °C).

The variety is resistant to pests and adverse weather factors. It prefers sunny locations, fertile, well-drained soils without an excess of lime. It is used for vertical landscaping in home gardens and for cultivation in large containers.
