The variety is a hybrid of Clematis marmoraria and Clematis × cartmanii 'Lunar Lass'. The plant has a compact form and belongs to evergreen species.

Flowers with a diameter of about 2.8 cm have a wide-cup or almost flat shape and are directed upwards or outwards. Sepals in the amount of 5–6 pieces are light yellow-green when opening, later turning white. The flowers have a light mint aroma, the stamens have green connectives and white anthers.

Inflorescences are formed in the axils and at the tips of the shoots. The plant is used as an ornamental shrub requiring sheltered planting sites and good drainage.
