The variety belongs to the Atragene group. The flowers are double, large, 10–12 cm in diameter, and bell-shaped, nodding. The sepals have a twisted shape with pointed tips; their outer side is creamy-purple, and the inner side is light pink. In the center of the flower, there are 15–16 lanceolate staminodes that emit a grapefruit aroma.

The plant is a climbing vine 2–3 meters high, which attaches to supports by leaf petioles. The foliage is dark green, ternate, large, with serrated edges. The main flowering occurs in May; repeat, less abundant flowering is possible in the summer.

The variety is winter-hardy, resistant to diseases and pests. It prefers sunny locations or partial shade and does not require complex pruning. It is suitable for vertical landscaping near fences and supports, and can also be used as a groundcover plant.
