Variety description

The plant belongs to the Diversifolia group and can be grown with support or as a groundcover crop. A mature bush reaches a height of 200 cm. The buds are purple in color.

Flowers 4–8 cm in diameter are violet-blue, petals have an elongated shape with curves, and anthers are golden-yellow. The variety is winter hardy (USDA zone 5) and requires hard pruning (pruning group 3).

Prefers sunny locations with shading of the root zone and good drainage. Used in vertical gardening, as a groundcover plant, and for cut flowers.
