The plant is a powerful, fast-growing vine reaching a height of 2 to 10 meters. The variety has dense foliage and blooms in the spring to early summer period. The flowers have golden-yellow stamens.

The variety is winter hardy, withstanding frosts down to -15...-25°C. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with well-drained, nutrient-rich soils. Pruning is recommended after flowering is complete.

It is used in vertical landscaping of walls, gazebos, and trellises; it is also suitable for container cultivation. The variety was obtained as a seedling from Clematis montana 'Sunrise'.
