The variety is a decorative vine intended for vertical gardening of gazebos, pergolas, and fences, and can also be grown in containers. The plant has thin, flexible shoots that cling to supports with leaf petioles.

The star-shaped flowers have a diameter of 15–20 cm and are colored creamy-white with a characteristic light yellow-greenish stripe in the center of the petals and yellow-cream stamens. There are usually 6 sepals, less often 4 or 5.

The variety belongs to the late-flowering group and requires hard pruning, as flowering occurs on current-year shoots. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness and the ability to grow in northern zones; mulching of the root zone is recommended.
