Variety description

The flowers are about 7.5 cm in diameter and have a star shape. When opening, the color is bright periwinkle-blue; as the flower ages, a silvery-white central stripe appears on the petals. A characteristic feature is a strong sweet fragrance, reminiscent of gardenia.

The plant is a deciduous perennial 1.5 to 3 meters in height with medium-green pinnate leaves. Flowering occurs on current-year shoots from late spring to early summer, sometimes continuing until autumn.

The variety has high resistance to wilt and belongs to USDA hardiness zones 6–9, according to some data — from 5a. It is recommended for vertical gardening on trellises and lattices, and is also suitable for container cultivation.
