Variety description

Flowers 10–12 cm in diameter are light blue with irregular light purple spots that lighten toward the center, and pinkish veins. The flower consists of 4–6 elliptical, acuminate sepals with wavy edges. The stamens are contrasting, with dark purple-violet anthers on greenish-white filaments.

The plant reaches a height of 2.5 meters. The leaves are simple or double, dark green, sometimes with a red border on young shoots. Young shoots are green-purple, older ones are brown.

Flowering is profuse, lasting from mid-June to the end of July, with a subsequent weak flush until the end of August. The variety belongs to pruning group 3. Winter hardiness is high, corresponding to zone 4 (down to –34 °C). Suitable for growing on various supports, as a ground cover plant, and in containers.
