Variety description

The plant reaches about 1.5 meters in height when grown in open field; dimensions may be smaller in containers. Foliage is ternate, medium green. Flowers 4–7 cm in diameter have 4 to 6 sepals directed upwards. The color is pale violet-blue, the center is lighter, dark veins are possible.

The variety belongs to the group of early-flowering large-flowered clematis and requires light pruning (group 2). The flowering period lasts from May to August. The plant has USDA zone 6 winter hardiness, flowers are resistant to fading in the sun. The variety is practically sterile.
