Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of large-flowered early clematis, being a hybrid of Clematis patens. Flowers are single, pure white with creamy or pale yellow stamens. The plant reaches 2 meters in height and 0.8–1 meter in width, which makes it more compact compared to classic large-flowered varieties.

Flowering occurs in June and July; a second wave is possible in late summer or September if wilted flowers are removed. Winter hardiness of the variety is up to -20 °C. The plant is a vine that attaches to supports via leaf petioles.

Due to its compactness, the variety is suitable for cultivation on supports in open field, as well as in large containers on terraces or in small gardens. Prefers partial shade locations or areas with soft morning sun, as well as humus-rich, well-drained, and moist soils.
