The shrub has medium to weak vigor. In its youth, the crown grows vertically, but becomes spreading with age, reaching a height of 5–8 meters. The fruits are large, short rectangular in shape, and sometimes slightly pointed. The shell is medium brown with stripes, flat at the base. The kernel yield is approximately 50%.

The variety is late-ripening; fruits mature in late September or early October. The plant enters the fruiting stage early and produces abundant yields. The variety is self-sterile; for stable fruiting, the planting of pollinators is required, such as the Cosford variety.

The plant is resistant to adverse conditions and tolerates frost well down to -25°C. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing. The variety can be affected by diseases and pests typical for the crop, including the hazelnut weevil, hazelnut bud mite, Monilia fruit rot, and powdery mildew.
