The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 3–5 meters and forming a dense, spreading crown. The leaves are large, light green, with serrated edges, turning yellow in the autumn period.

The variety is of mid-early maturity, with harvest occurring in the first half of September. The fruits are large, round or slightly flattened in shape with a dense red-brown shell; the kernel constitutes 40–45% of the nut volume.

The plant possesses good resistance to frosts and a range of pests, although it is susceptible to Monilinia in rainy weather. The variety acts as an effective pollinator for other hazelnut varieties.
