The vigorous shrub reaches a height of 3–5 meters and forms a spreading crown, sometimes with curved shoots. The plant enters the fruiting stage 2–5 years after planting.

The oval-oblong fruits are of medium size with a mass of about 3–4 grams. The nuts ripen in late August — early September. The variety is characterized by a thin shell and high palatability of the kernel.

The crop is in demand both in industrial horticulture and in landscape design, including for the creation of hedges.
