The variety is a compact rounded shrub, reaching a height and width of about 1.5 meters by 10 years of age. Foliage has a purple color in spring, which darkens to almost black during the summer period, and acquires orange-red shades in autumn. In early summer, the plant forms purple-red fluffy inflorescences.

The plant possesses good resistance to diseases, high adaptability to heat and drought after rooting. It prefers growing in the sun on well-drained soils. To maintain a compact shape of the bush, it is recommended to perform pruning in late winter or early spring.
