The variety is a spreading shrub with a wide crown, reaching 1.5 to 3 meters in height and width. The main feature is the golden-yellow leaves, which may have a bronze or orange tint at the edges on young shoots. In the autumn period, the leaf color changes to coral, orange, and red tones.

The plant produces small yellowish-green flowers in paniculate inflorescences with characteristic pink fluffy sterile pedicels. The variety is resistant to drought, heat, and urban conditions after rooting, and belongs to USDA hardiness zone 6a. The plant tolerates pruning well, prefers sunny locations where it retains the intensity of its leaf color, and can be affected by Verticillium wilt.
