Variety description

The plant is a compact, densely branched shrub 2.5–3 m tall with a comparable crown width. The leaves have a purple-red hue, which becomes more intense in the autumn period.

A feature of the variety is its ability to form large pink fluffy inflorescences 15–30 cm in size on the current year's shoots. Flowering continues from July to October.

The shrub is frost-hardy, drought-tolerant, prefers light and permeable soils, and is sensitive to waterlogging. It may show susceptibility to rust, leaf spot, and Verticillium wilt.
