Strongman is an interspecific hybrid of squash used exclusively as agrotechnical material for plant grafting. This hybrid is not intended for the cultivation of commercial fruits suitable for consumption.

The primary purpose of the rootstock is to protect grafted crops, such as watermelon, melon, or cucumber, from adverse environmental conditions and soil-borne pathogens. Detailed morphological descriptions of the plant are absent from public sources.
