The Spring Light F1 hybrid belongs to the Hokkaidō type. The plant is characterized by an impressively developed form, is semi-bushy, and slightly trailing. The fruits are dark orange in color, oblate-round in shape with a small neck, and their weight varies from 1.2 to 1.8 kg.
The fruit flesh has a dense structure and a crunchy consistency, and is suitable for raw consumption. The skin is edible, making the variety suitable for use in ready-to-eat product concepts.
The hybrid possesses intermediate resistance to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, Watermelon mosaic virus, and Papaya ringspot virus. The breeding of the variety is aimed at stronger peduncle attachment.
