The hybrid is an interspecific cross of Cucurbita maxima × Cucurbita moschata, possessing high growth vigor and a developed root system. It is used exclusively as a rootstock and is not intended for the production of marketable squash fruit.
The plant exhibits resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. niveum) and increased tolerance to soil salinity, though it may be susceptible to root-knot nematodes.
