The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group; harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in late September — October. The tree is characterized as comparatively vigorous or medium-sized with a compact, broom-like or broad crown. The variety enters into bearing 4–5 years after planting.
The fruits are large, weighing from 230 to 350 g, with individual specimens reaching 500 g. The shape is pear-like, the skin is lemon-yellow with wide smoothed ribs. The flesh is yellowish, firm, juicy, sweet-sour in taste and aromatic. The fruits are capable of being stored for up to 4–5 months.
The variety is comparatively winter hardy, withstands frosts down to -29 °C, and is sufficiently resistant to fungal diseases. It is demanding of soils and prefers sites protected from the wind. The variety is partially self-fertile; for higher yields, cross-pollination with other varieties is recommended.
