Cydora Robusta
ActiveCydonia oblonga Mill. · Quince
10 August 2026
The tree of this variety has medium vigor. Harvesting of the fruits is carried out in late September. A low content of sclereids is noted in the fruits, which has a positive effect on product quality.
The fruits are suitable for long-term storage, which can continue until June. Regarding resistance to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora), the data are contradictory: a number of current field trials indicate high susceptibility of the variety to this disease.
