The plant is a deciduous shrub with narrow lanceolate leaves and graceful drooping shoots. The color of the bracts of the variety corresponds to the name — orange.

The variety is intended for decorative gardening, commercial floriculture, and breeding work as a rootstock. In temperate climates, the crop is not winter-hardy and requires greenhouse maintenance.
