The plant is a shrub with narrow leaves, reaching a height of up to 1.5 meters under natural conditions. In commercial floriculture, pinching is used to form branched shoots of the required length. Euphorbia fulgens is a short-day crop, the flowering of which usually occurs from September to February.
This variety is grown exclusively in protected cultivation. The crop is highly susceptible to fungal diseases, which requires soil sterilization in commercial production. Cut flowers require special treatment to prevent the loss of milky sap, after which they maintain freshness in a vase for 8 to 15 days.
