The variety has a genetic origin from polycrosses involving the varieties Pixie, Coronado and a number of experimental lines. The plant forms a dense stand typical for this biological species.

The variety belongs to the category of lawn grasses and is often used in specialized grass mixtures for landscaping and landscape works. The crop demonstrates good survival under moderately low maintenance conditions.
