The variety is hexaploid and belongs to the mid-early maturity group. The plant is characterized by a medium tillering type, and leaf color varies from medium to dark green. The stand of the variety is distinguished by a medium degree of fineness.

Barening is intended for use in lawn mixtures. The variety is recommended for the creation of intensively used sports surfaces and other types of lawn surfaces.
