The variety is intended for use as a forage crop. It is focused on obtaining high-quality summer forage in regions where drought limits ryegrass productivity.

The plant contains the AR584 (MaxP®) endophyte, which provides increased resistance to insect pests and survival in difficult conditions, while the endophyte does not have a negative impact on animal health.
