Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is intended for the formation of turf covers. It was actively used in professional comparative trials of turf and forage grasses, where decorative qualities of the sod cover, resistance to mechanical stress, and tolerance to trampling were evaluated.

In a number of professional reports based on trial results, the variety demonstrated high disease resistance. The variety should be distinguished from other breeding achievements that have the word "Emperor" or similar names in their title, including the "Emperor II" variety and the Kentucky bluegrass variety "Green Emperor".
