The variety is a fescue-type festulolium obtained by crossing meadow fescue and Italian ryegrass. Due to the use of backcrossing with meadow fescue, the variety possesses the pronounced morphological traits of this species.

The plant is used as a forage crop for establishing highly productive pastures and hayfields. It combines high yield and hardiness with forage quality characteristic of ryegrass, including an increased sugar and energy content compared to pure fescue species.

The variety is distinguished by high drought tolerance and winter hardiness, and is capable of tolerating areas with high groundwater levels. It is characterized by good regrowth in early spring and high productivity during the summer-autumn period.
