The variety forms a dense stand due to lateral rhizome growth, which provides the ability to self-repair damaged areas. The variety is adapted to intensive use, is characterized by high resistance to trampling and wear, and is capable of maintaining its ornamental quality at a low mowing height from 12 mm.

The plant possesses pronounced resistance to drought and soil salinity. In terms of phytopathological resistance, the variety demonstrates high indicators of resistance to rust, red thread, Microdochium, and leaf spot. In the USA, the variety is presented under the trade name Grande 3.
