The variety is intended for use at airfields, where the stiffness of the leaves reduces the risk of attracting birds. It is also used for golf course construction as part of mixtures for rough zones and other extensive areas requiring minimal maintenance.

The plant possesses high resistance to diseases, including red thread, and is characterized by increased endurance and tolerance to soil salinity. The variety is adapted to low-fertilizer conditions and tolerates standard mowing regimes well.
