The variety is characterized by high adaptability to various soil and hydrological conditions: it grows successfully in both dry and wet areas, and tolerates waterlogging and high water tables.

The plant biomass at the heading stage contains an optimal carbon-to-nitrogen ratio for methane fermentation and is distinguished by an increased content of water-soluble carbohydrates.
