Festuca arundinacea Schreb. Tall fescue · Agricultural · bred by DLF Trifolium A-S, DK

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the group of soft-leaved fescues, which contributes to high feed palatability. Characterized by high first cut in the spring period and the ability for rapid regrowth after mowing.

The plant possesses a deep root system penetrating up to 1.5 meters, which ensures high drought tolerance. Late heading forms a spring window of optimal use lasting about 51 days, which increases flexibility in forage harvesting schedules.

The variety is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, including less fertile and periodically waterlogged areas. Demonstrates excellent resistance to rust and other diseases, which allows the crop to be used in conditions with limited irrigation capabilities.
